Coaching is a one-on-one meeting with one of the Brians or Sharon where you’ll sit down to discuss your current position in the industry and where you’d like to be. We’ll take a careful look at your tools (or lack thereof): your headshots, resumes, postcards, online profiles, agents, unions, reels, and cover letters (if you’re a “lack thereof,” or need new tools, you’ll begin there). You’ll examine your business practice and probe what gaps need attention (i.e., what are you doing/not doing). You will cover workshops, agent meetings, getting auditions, breakdowns, how to get in the door, get an agent, change agents, make money, and, most importantly, situation-specific strategies for your career. You’ll be set on a clear path with assignments; you will leave this meeting with a long TO DO list and due dates. You will not discuss acting technique; you will focus on how to get work.
