Welcome to Actor Salon! Please take a moment to read everything below and familiarize yourself with our policies.

INSTANT ACTOR SALON COMMUNITY
You’ve become a member of the growing Actor Salon community. Make sure to ACCEPT your invitation to the Actor Salon AAS Google Group or “Loop”.
YOUR SALON LOOP
As a member of Weekly Actor Accountability Salon, you will also be invited to join your salon-specific Google Group. Doing so will help you stay in contact with your fellow actors and help each other out on tasks. Be sure to ask your group what the Google Group nickname is if you’re unclear. You may be new to Google Groups so feel free to ask your fellow Saloners for pointers.

his is a place for you and your fellow Salon members to post news, resources and check in regarding your tasks and assignments. We love that our Google groups inspire action and empower actors. We want to keep that the focus of the groups. Refrain from negative posts and always be respectful.

post@actorsalon.com   This address will be used for any links to videos, casting advice, articles, offerings or updates about you which you’d like posted on the AS Facebook page or website so it reaches the entire Actor Salon community. Be sure to add this address to your MailChimp newsletters so we can post those as well! This is also the email to send salon tasks too.

REFERRAL PROGRAM
You’re entitled to a $25 credit towards next month’s salon when any new person you refer signs up for a Master Class or Actor Accountability Salon. There is no limit on this offer (e.g. if you refer 2 friends who sign up for Master Class or a Actor Salon, you get a $50 credit!). We always ask incoming clients how they came our way, so please remind them to use your name. Current JRS clients do not qualify as referrals. Please make sure to send an email to assistant@actorsalon.com if someone you refer joins Master Class.
ACTING STUDIO BONUS
As a new member of Actor Accountability Salon, you are entitled to a FREE first-time group consultation with John at John Rosenfeld Studios: 1140 N Fairfax Ave. West Hollywood, CA 90046. Contact the JRS office at info@johnrosenfeld.com to make it happen.

PRIVATE COACHING
We offer Private Coaching in fifteen-minute increments. Please be sure to email assistant@actorsalon.com if you’re interested. Coaching sessions are prepaid and the cancellation policy is 24 hours in advance or your pre-payment will not be refunded.

ACTORSALON.COM – YOUR RESOURCE
Login to ActorSalon.com and you will find your weekly tasks, six month goals and lots of other useful curriculum and information. This section is always being updated so if you ever cannot find something or see a glitch, please let us know at assistant@actorsalon.com. Take note: this password is changed monthly to protect your privacy. The username is always ‘salonmember’ (the word ‘salonmember’, not you name).
SALON LOCATIONS
There are two different Salon locations. If you are ever confused on where your Salon is meeting, please call the office 323-656-1937.
SALON ATTENDANCE/MAKEUP/LATE POLICY
You’ll notice that your Salon becomes a tight-knit network and you’ll look forward to seeing each other every week. With that in mind, it’s important to let us know if you won’t be able to attend so, when someone asks, the coaches can let everyone in on where you are. If you need to miss or will be late to a class, we ask you to email us at attendance@actorsalon.com.

Gonna miss salon? In order to qualify for a make-up, you must email attendance@actorsalon.comby 9PM the night prior. By doing so, the coaches can account for that time and ensure your fellow Salon members get the best use of their time. We will make arrangements as soon as possible to schedule your make-up and keep in mind there may be a wait list. NOTE: You may only schedule make-ups during a month in which you are enrolled. We encourage make-ups and have a very liberal policy. If you must miss salon, you have THREE months to make up your missed salon; to do so you must be currently enrolled. Once you have been confirmed for a make-up class that counts as your make up. (There are no make-ups for make-up class). If you don’t show, you forfeit your make-up.

Gonna be late? If you’re going to be late and intend to attend Salon the day of, you must email attendance@actorsalon.com an hour before your Salon to let us know. By doing so, the coaches will know to expect you and will be able to set aside time to work with you. Unfortunately, if we don’t receive an email, the coaches won’t know to expect you and your personal task time will be reduced to ten minutes. Additionally, you won’t be able to share your wins with the group.

FREEZE SALON MEMBERSHIP
Membership freezes are not offered for month-to-month memberships. If you’re enrolled under a 6-month ongoing contract or have purchased a 6-month prepaid package, one 1-month freeze will be provided per 6- month enrollment. You must email assistant@actorsalon.com regarding your freeze request by the 18th of the month prior to the beginning of the month that you wish to freeze.
SALON RELEASE DATE
Once you are enrolled in Actor Accountability Salon, you will automatically be re-enrolled in the same salon each month thereafter unless you email the office at assistant@actorsalon.com by or on the SALON RELEASE DATE, which is the 18th of the month. If you fail to notify us by the 18th, you WILL be enrolled in the following month’s salon. No exceptions, refunds, or credits.
Multi-month membership packages may be cancelled by providing written notice (email is acceptable) by the 18th of the month prior to the beginning of the month that you wish to exit. You will be responsible for paying a $360 early termination fee. If you purchased a prepaid membership package and wish discontinue salon before completing your commitment, no refund will be provided.
SWITCHING CLASSES
If you wish to remain in Salon but would like to be switched to a different class day/time the following month, you must email director@actorsalon.com by the Salon Release Date (the 18th of the current month). If we are unable to accommodate your request, you will not be financially responsible for the following month’s class.

Ongoing Classes w/ Salon | $400
PAYMENT DUE DATE
Payment for the following month’s class is DUE on the 25th of the current month (e.g., payment for April class is due on March 25th). If your card is declined or check returned you will incur an additional $10 fee to your payment.
AUTOMATIC RECURRING BILLING
Give us your credit card information and your credit card will automatically be charged on the 25th of the current month for the following month’s class. Call us at (323) 656-1937 or email assistant@actorsalon.com to update your payment information no later than the 21st of the month.

PAYING BY CHECK
Cash/Check Checks payable to John Rosenfeld Studios. You may drop off your payment at the studio or mail it to our business address: 1140 N Fairfax, West Hollywood, CA 90046. If you are currently enrolled in class, you can simply hand your payment to your teacher or TA prior to the payment due date.

*If your card is declined or check returned, due to insufficient funds or outdated information, you will incur an additional $10 fee to your payment.

For coaching rates visit www.ActorSalon.com/coaching – we prefer you pay for your coaching in advance, on our website. The cancellation policy is 24 hours in advance.

HOW TO PAY
At this moment in time, credit cards are the preferred method of payment (we do not accept American Express). If you’d like to pay by check, you will need to turn payment into your coach by the due date. We do not accept cash payment for salon.
