Who?

BRIAN PATACCA

BRIAN PATACCA

I currently make a living as an actor; I work in commercials (70+), hosting, voiceover, television, theatre, and print. I’ve worked on both coasts and around the globe, including Dublin, London, and on the Atlantic, Pacific, Caribbean, and Mediterranean Seas. I live in Los Angeles, but called Manhattan home for 11 years. I freelanced with 12 agents before choosing my current representation. I spent my first two years in New York as an advertising account executive and copywriter for Broadway shows and subsequently worked as a career coach (where I found one of my callings!). I’m proud and touched to say that I help many actors realize their dreams. If you’d like to know more, check out www.BrianPatacca.com, follow me on Twitter or learn about me at About.Me/BrianPatacca. I hope to see you at an audition soon. Give your career a kick in the AAS (Actor Accountability Salon)!

Graduating with a Masters Degree in Fine Arts from Orlando Shakespeare Theatre in Partnership with the University of Central Florida, I have taught everything from Theatre 101 to Acting for Majors at the University level; at OST I was an actor in residence, intern in the office of marketing and grant writing, educator in Shakespeare classes for young adults, and tackled all of the above while publishing my thesis. My MFA background taught me that making a successful life in Los Angeles has to be about learning to combine the art of business and the art of…well….art! And that’s what kicking AAS is ALL about. I am proud to have been with the Brian and Brian Actor’s Accountability Salon in it’s inaugural steps, and thrilled to be helping salon members discover the tools that are aiding them in living the life of an empowered actor.

I love what I do!  I’ve been a professional actress, voiceover artist, and producer for over a decade. I’ve had the great pleasure to perform all over the US and in Europe in places like New York, Chicago, Miami, San Francisco, Los Angeles, London, and Amsterdam. I’m a long time member of the OBIE award winning theater company Partial Comfort Productions and was the Co-Creator and Company Manager of the play development organization, The 24Seven Lab. I was raised in the Chicago area, I lived in New York for 15 years, and now happily call LA my home. I’m a CTI trained life coach and I really believe in work that Brian & Brian do in Actor Accountability Salon. I believe that everyone deserves to live vibrant and fulfilled lives, and that  sharing who you are with the world (aka Marketing) can be fun.
